We are excited to welcome Brittany Haynes as our new Intake Coordinator for Home Health. Brittany brings a wealth of experience and a diverse background in healthcare, including her qualifications as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). With her unique combination of clinical knowledge and healthcare coordination skills, Brittany will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient intake process for both patients and referral partners.

Experience and Background

Brittany’s healthcare journey began in 2015 when she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Mary Washington Healthcare in Fredericksburg, VA. During this time, she gained hands-on experience supporting patients, assisting with personal care, and coordinating with nursing staff. This experience laid a strong foundation for her later roles in healthcare management.

After completing her associate’s degree in nursing from ECPI University, Brittany became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), further expanding her expertise in clinical care. She then worked with Gastroenterology Associates of Fredericksburg, where she was responsible for triaging patients, managing patient flow, and coordinating procedure orders—a role that greatly honed her ability to organize and manage complex care needs.

In her most recent role as an Admission Liaison at Encompass Health, Brittany specialized in guiding patients and families through the admissions process, working closely with referral partners, and managing patient records. This combination of experience makes her exceptionally qualified for her new position as Intake Coordinator.

Brittany’s Role as Intake Coordinator

As Intake Coordinator, Brittany will be the key point of contact for our referral partners, patients, and families. She will oversee the intake process from start to finish, reviewing patient records, determining eligibility for home health services and initial scheduling of care.

Her experience in both clinical and administrative roles means that Brittany has a deep understanding of what it takes to coordinate care effectively. She is committed to making the intake process as seamless as possible, ensuring that patients and their families receive clear communication and support every step of the way.
